Spiritual CPR

Are you or your situation spiritually dead and in need of emergency attention? You can use the A.S.K. method of CPR to breathe life back into your dead situations.

Ask - Check to see if there is is a spiritual PULSE?

Seek - Check for spiritual BREATHING. Ask the Holy Spirit to breathe life into your situation, to give spiritual respiration. There is nothing artificial about this at all. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life."

Knock - With determination, giving truth compressions. Keep speaking Words of life to keep the spiritual BLOOD FLOW to the heart. REPEAT THE PROCESS (Matt. 7:7).

Spiritual heart compressions, like going to church regularly or a life support machine such as growing up in a family that follows Jesus, is not enough. One needs the DEFIBRILLATOR  of personal belief and trust in Jesus Christ: a Persistent prayer life.

Prayer can breathe life back into your dead circumstances. It shocks the heart into life so it operates as it was intended. With it's rhythmic harmonies, it allows God to have His finger on the pulse of your life. It reminds us that we are dependent on Him. So pray often with diligent passion and active intention, ask with dependence, seek with drive, and knock with determination on Heaven's door so that earth's door will be opened.

John 15: 7 says, "If you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for ANYTHING YOU WANT, and it will be granted". Matt. 6:33 says, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and everything else shall be added."

Charles Spurgeon spoke of how the old doors had a NAILHEAD onto which a knocker was dropped and people would strike it so heavily that the saying arose "AS DEAD AS A DOORNAIL".  Jesus speaks of that kind of intensity in prayer, praying so persistently that it outlives the doornail. It may seem pointless to keep bashing on something that is dead as a doornail, but there is LIFE on the other side of the door! CPR for the spiritual heart. That kind of prayer breathes life into dead situations.
